Hi, I'm Vedansh Gupta.
Grade 12 student at UWCSEA East Campus, fast bowler for the Singapore U19 National Cricket Team, and founder of BowlFast.AI.
Who I Am
I'm a student-athlete based in Singapore — studying at UWCSEA East while representing my country as a fast bowler. I care about how the human biomechanics actually work in fast bowling especially since it is not widely understood. That curiosity is what led me to build BowlFast.AI: a tool that turns a phone video into clear, useful biomechanical coaching for fast bowlers for FREE.
My Cricketing Journey
I've been playing cricket since I was eight, and I've always loved bowling fast. I've represented Singapore in the ACC U16 East Zone Cup, the ACC U19 Premier Cup, and in bilateral series. For a long time, the thing I cared about most was hitting a new personal best on the speed gun every session.
I trained hard, but at one point my pace plateaued and I couldn't figure out why. That pushed me to study fast bowling biomechanics — especially how the kinetic chain needs to transfer energy toward the batter. Since then I've started bowling faster, and I'm working toward my goal of 130 km/h. BowlFast.AI exists so other bowlers don't have to guess their way through that same plateau.
Mission
BowlFast.AI exists to give every fast bowler — from school nets to age-group and club cricket — clear, data-backed biomechanical coaching from a simple video. We want injury-risk patterns caught earlier, technique feedback that makes sense, and improvement that doesn't depend on having a full coaching staff.
Vision
A world where any fast bowler, anywhere, can open their phone, film a delivery, and get the kind of biomechanical insight that used to be reserved for elite programs — so more bowlers bowl faster, play higher-level cricket, and stay injury-free.
